The mission for this type of term paper may be varied and may include an assignment of reading a newspaper column by date or subject.

Finally, students can opt to create either a descriptive or prescriptive term paper. A descriptive study paper typically addresses a specific question such as,”How does the price of gas change with time” A prescriptive study paper is written to provide a particular answer to a particular question such as,”To what extent did the price of fuel growth with time” Prescriptive written projects must be completely researched and the student should consult a resource such as the Internet for further information about the topic.
